Oregon’s oldest vineyard and winery, Hill Crest Vineyard was established in 1961. Family owned and operated, they specialize in small lot wines handcrafted from the state’s oldest vineyards. These hillside vineyard sites, with their low yielding dry farmed vines, are naturally grown allowing each wine to develop its own unique personality and character. In the cellar they honor Old World traditions, employing gentle gravity flow winemaking techniques and a hands-off approach.
Amongst the varieties grown are Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay. These vines, some of the oldest in the state, yield between 1.5 - 2 tons per acre and are all farmed using green/sustainable techniques such as dry farming and permanent cover crops.
Hill Crest's wines are not sold in stores.
