Rocky Knoll is a family owned and operated vineyard in southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley. The wine takes its name from the rocky hillside where south-facing vines make up part of the patchwork of their fourth-generation family farm.
The vineyard is approximately four acres of mature Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The oldest vines, planted in the mid 1970s, are one of the earliest modern grape plantings in the Rogue Valley.
Rocky Knoll makes a Claret what is 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc and 38% Merlot as well as a Dunbar Red.
RoxyAnn Winery offers Rocky Knoll's wines to taste at 3285 Hillcrest Rd., 11am to 6pm daily.
